Mont Harmon hosted a successful Spelling Bee on February 1. In all, 38 students competed.

The winners of the competition was Pierce Bryner, Garrett Bryner, and Kris Durrant respectively. They will go on to the district Bee later this month.

The students in the school bee won prizes from KFC, Desert Wavepool, McDonalds, Pizza Hut, Banasky Insurance, and the Gateway Lanes.

The top three also won Walmart gift cards donated by the Price Kiwanis Club.

The winners plaques were donated by Danny Blanton of Original Creations. Mrs. Patricia Blanton would like to thank all the sponsors and teachers who helped make this event such a success.
