Benny Joe Flores, age 68, passed away February 2, 2018 in Pontotoc, Mississippi.

He was born January 24, 1950 to Pres and Maxine Cox Flores.

Benny was raised in Dragerton, Utah where he graduated from East Carbon High in the class of 68′. Benny was a proud marine vet, who also served in the Army during the Vietnam War. While stationed in Germany he met his soul
mate Angelika (Geli) Thierols. They were married July 11, 1973. Benny was a resident of East Carbon until 1992 when he relocated to Mississippi where he retired in 2010 from the State of Mississippi Pontotoc road department.

He is survived by his wife, Geli; sons, Robert (Melanie), Frank (Rhonda); 9 grandchildren, all of Mississippi; twin sister, Bonnie Beckley (Bob Anderson); sisters, Sharon (Willie) Ellington, Kathy (Rick) Albert; brother in law, Kenneth (Corky) Brinkley, all of Utah; sister, Karen Johnson; many loving nieces, nephews and extended family.

Preceded in death by his parents, Pres and Maxine; sisters, Rebecca Flores, Marion Brinkley; brother in law, Tim Beckley; nephew, Justin Flores.
