Ascension St Matthews Annual Shrove Tuesday Pancake Supper will be held on Tuesday, February 13 from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm inside the church located on 522 North Homestead Boulevard in Price.

“Our event is an annual event that has been going on for many, many years and it’s open to the community,” Pam Adams, an Event Organizer. The dinner will consist of pancakes, ham, scrambled eggs and a beverage. The pancake portion is an all you can eat item. The supper will be served by many church members.

“The donation cost is $5 per person or $20 a family, so it’s a pretty good deal for all the way around,” stated Adams. All proceeds from the event will go to the Church’s outreach community programs.

The church’s gift shop will be open during the event for guests. “Most of our items are homemade and one of a kind, we have a few things that we buy, you know like crosses and things like that but can’t find in too many other places,” said Adams.  Other items include Advent candles, wreaths and religious jewelry.
