With the completion of the winter sports season, the Emery Spartans are gearing up for the spring schedule, which begins Monday as the boy’s soccer team travels on the road.

The spring sports season will feature baseball, softball, track and field, girl’s golf, and boy’s soccer. Following the start of the soccer season, both the baseball and softball team will begin play on Tuesday. Girl’s golf will begin the day after, followed by track and field on March 10.

Led by first year manager Rob Smith, the Emery baseball team will host their first home game on March 12 against the Carbon Dinos. The two teams will meet again on March 28 in Helper, at Carbon’s designated home field. Region play will start on March 13 against Grand.

Softball will open the season up against Carbon on Tuesday, March 6. The two teams will meet again on April 19 in Price. The team will open up region play on March 13 against Grand, and complete the regular season on May 2.

The girl’s golf season will consist of seven region meets before the division championship on April 30. The state championship will follow on May 8 and 9. The team is looking to repeat as state champions, after dominating the 2A classification in 2017.
