The Carbon Lady Dinos continued the region golf season with a third place finish at the Mountain View Golf Course in Richfield Wednesday afternoon.

Cut short due to weather, the six competing schools were limited to just nine holes. Delta finished at the top of leaderboard with a 194, while Juab ended in second at 197. Carbon edged out Providence Hall 202-203 for third, while Union finished in fifth at 222.

Sam King posted a team low 45 to lead the Dinos, while Jordan Bianco ended with a 49. Aubrey Fausett delivered a 50, and Jessica Hansen’s 58 rounded out the team’s top four performers.

Following Wednesday’s results Carbon now sits third in the division trailing Juab by six strokes for second. Delta currently has a 24 stroke lead at the top of the standings now two meets deep into the season.

The region season will reach the midpoint next week when the teams travel to Delta’s home course at Sunset View.
