The Notre Dame De Lourdes would like to invite the entire family to join them at their Hope Community Center to continue the spirit of St Patrick after the parade on Main Street on March 17.
“Right after the parade from 1:00 pm till 8:00 pm that evening will be corned beef and cabbage lunch and dinner up at the Notre Dame Hope Community Center that’s on 2nd North and Carbon Avenue,” said an event organizer, Nick Tatton. Best way to celebrate St Patrick’s Day is to enjoy a delicious meal of corned beef and cabbage, the dish will be available to guests for a donation of $7.00 per plate. The proceeds will benefit the church’s many community outreach programs. If guests are unable to stay to enjoy their meal, don’t worry there will be take-out available.
For those individuals who may not have an appetite for corned beef and cabbage, will have other options to choose from like hamburgers, hot dogs, baked goods, beverages and other delightful items.
“Everything will be in the spirit, hopefully, everybody can come on out and hang around and have a good time it will be a full afternoon full of fun,” stated Tatton. There will be opportunity drawings and games, a silent auction, as well as, several activities for the children to keep them busy as the parents have a little fun enjoying a green beer or two; of course, you must have photo ID and over the age of 21 years old to purchase.
