It’s Easter weekend and some families have a tradition to attend church services with their family. Price Chapel is thrilled to offer Good Friday Community Worship Gathering and two Easter Sunday services.
The Good Friday Community Worship Gathering is free and all are welcomed. The services will feature an hour of singing songs, reading scriptures, praying, celebrating communion and meditating on the cross. “This Friday at 7:00 pm we want to invite the whole community out to remember the day in which Jesus died on the cross,” stated Lead Pastor, Steve Swinburne. The service will take place from 7:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the Carbon County Event Center located at 310 South Fairgrounds Road. This wonderful program is being sponsored by Gospel Community Church, Liberty Faith Fellowship, New Life Ministries, Price Chapel, Price United Methodist Church and Trinity Christian Center.
Price Chapel will offer two opportunities for parishioners to attend their services. “We are having two services this year, one at 9:00 am, one at 11:00 am and then a free breakfast in between at 10:00 am in our fellowship hall,” stated Pastor Swinburne. The free breakfast will be prepared by members of the church and will consist of eggs, pancakes, bacon and a beverage.
The worship gatherings will be full of uplifting music, scripture, prayer and a beautiful message will be shared. “There will be nursery care only for the 9:00 am service and the 11:00 am service will have our full kids programming which will be for infants through fifth grade. So whatever service works for you come and join us,” said Swinburne. There is no kids program during the 9:00 am service, however, children are welcome to attend.
Price Chapel warmly welcomes people from all walks of life, regardless of where they are on their journey with God. To learn more about Price Chapel visit their website at www.pricechapel.org or find them on Facebook Price Chapel.
