The Helper’s First Friday event will take place on April 6 at 6:00 pm on Helper’s historic Main Street and the entire community is invited.
There will be various types of arts and crafts, plus hayrides for the kids. Organizers encourage children 12 and under to wear their most convincing western attire for the Best Dressed Outlaw contest. Not to be outdone, there is lots of fun for adults too. There will be game tournaments gallery strolls, delicious food and so much more.
The Clampers will be hosting an opportunity game, plus serving up their famous chili and cornbread at 7:00 pm inside the hall located 262 South Main Street. The cost is $5.00 per person.
Other choices for dinner is pulled pork sandwiches, corn baked beans, coleslaw and peach cobbler at Marsha’s Sammich Shop or enjoy some spaghetti with meatballs at Balance Rock Eatery and Pub.
After enjoying your dinner, guests can join the square dancing that will be taking place on the street or visit Adams Fine Arts for an evening of music.
This event is sure to have an activity for every cowboy and cowgirl in the county.
