Price River Water Improvement District announced on their Facebook page that water is back on all over the valley. This comes as a huge relief for many residents who had to endure days without water.

Appreciation was extended by PRWID to Price City Public Works, Fire Departments from around the area, Carbon County Road Department and Emergency Management, UDOT and State of Utah, along with Southeastern Utah Health District, Nelco Contractors Inc., Waster & Water Logistics, Walmart and Sutherlands. If it weren’t for the generosity of lending a helping hand from all of these agencies, restoration of water would have been very difficult and time-consuming.

This was not a planned event and PRWID had no way of knowing that the initial incident would result in several crucial leaks to the culinary water system. During the repairs, PRWID employees worked tirelessly for days and the agency’s administration greatly appreciates their willingness to respond to the water emergency at the sacrifice of being away from their families.

Lastly, PRWID would like to thank residents for their patience and understanding during a difficult situation. To keep informed on PRWID visit their Facebook page.
