*Carbon County Community Fishing Pond*:
The Carbon County Community Fishing Pond is open again. The pond was stocked with 1,000 rainbow trout on Mar. 28. Try using nightcrawlers or PowerBait for catching rainbow trout here. (04-20-18)
*Cleveland Reservoir*:
Cleveland Reservoir will begin to thaw soon, and the snow and ice on the lake will be unstable. Use extra caution before venturing out. Anglers have had success catching rainbow trout using tube jigs tipped with mealworms. Fishing has been best before noon. (04-20-18)
*Duck Fork Reservoir*:
Access to Duck Fork Reservoir and others on the South Manti may be limited because of snow, ice and mud. (04-20-18)
*Electric Lake*:
Electric Lake is currently inaccessible using highway vehicles because of recent snowfall. The boat ramp is accessible, however, with snowshoes or a snow machine. Fishing may be best near the boat ramp and from other sloping terrain using tube jigs. (04-20-18)
*Fairview Lakes*:
Fairview Lakes are currently inaccessible using highway vehicles because of recent snow. (04-20-18)
*Ferron Reservoir*:
Ferron Reservoir and others on the South Manti are inaccessible for highway vehicles. (04-20-18)
*Gigliotti Pond*:
Gigliotti Pond was stocked on Mar. 28 with 750 rainbow trout. Try using worms or PowerBait for catching rainbow trout here. (04-20-18)
*Gooseberry Reservoir*:
Gooseberry Reservoir is currently inaccessible for highway vehicles because of snow. (04-20-18)
*Grassy Lake*:
Grassy Lake and other waters on the South Manti are currently inaccessible to highway vehicles because of ice on the road. (04-20-18)
*Huntington Creek*:
Most of Huntington Creek has open water. Try using nymph or soft hackle flies for catching brown trout here. (04-20-18)
*Huntington Game Farm Pond*:
Try using worms or PowerBait to catch rainbow trout here. Small flies may work well for catching bluegill. (04-20-18)
*Huntington North Reservoir*:
Huntington North Reservoir has been stocked with more than 3,000 rainbow trout so far this year. Many of those fish are more than 20 inches in length. A recent gillnet survey also produced several largemouth bass over three pounds. (04-20-18)
*Huntington Reservoir*:
Huntington Reservoir will soon have unstable ice, if not already. Use extra caution before venturing out here. Try using tube jigs or plain jig heads tipped with worms to catch tiger trout here. (04-20-18)
*Joes Valley Reservoir*:
Fishing has been slow at Joes Valley Reservoir. Try using jigs tipped with chub meat or crankbaits for catching large trout and tiger muskies here. (04-20-18)
*Knight-Ideal Community Fishing Pond*:
The Knight-Ideal Community Fishing Pond was stocked with 1,000 rainbow trout on Mar. 28. Try using worms or PowerBait for catching trout here. Since the pond reopened, a few anglers have caught trout between eight inches and 14 inches. (04-20-18)
*La Sal Mountains*:
Many waters on the La Sal Mountains are either inaccessible to highway vehicles or covered with unstable ice. (04-20-18)
*Lower Fish Creek*:
Try using panther martin spinners or green soft hackle flies for catching trout and chubs from the upper end of Lower Fish Creek. (04-20-18)
*Miller Flat Reservoir*:
Miller Flat Reservoir is currently inaccessible for highway vehicles. You might be able to reach the reservoir using a snow machine. (04-20-18)
*Millsite Reservoir & State Park*:
The water level at Millsite Reservoir is still low. It has risen by about 10 feet since the ice thawed, but there still isn’t enough water to launch a boat. The daily limit of 16 fish has also been extended for another year. Anglers have had success using leeches and crystal buggers. (04-20-18)
*Petes Hole*:
The waters and others above Joes Valley may be inaccessible because of snow, ice and mud. (04-20-18)
*Potters Ponds*:
The pond may be inaccessible using highway vehicles because of snow, ice and mud. (04-20-18)
*Right Fork of Huntington Creek*:
Try using soft hackle flies or renegades for catching brown trout in Huntington Creek. (04-20-18)
