The Carbon County Royalty Organization is hosting an event for the entire community. The Under the Sea Zumba and Dance Fitness Party will take place on Saturday, May 5 at 6:00 pm till 8:00 pm at Pinnacle High School old gymnasium.

The Under the Sea atmosphere was created for Pinnacle’s Prom that was held last month and the school was gracious enough to allow the organization to host it there.

There are several different sessions that will be held with various fitness instructors in the area. “We have Lori Riley from LoveFit Studio, Trish Anderson who teaches Zumba at the high school and at the Healing Arts. We were able to get Emily Olsen from TougHer and we got Aubrie Carpenter who teaches at Fitness World and Fierce MMA and Fitness,” said Event Coordinator, Tori Frandsen. Each of the instructors are each bring unique workout routines to share.

The cost to attend the event is very affordable and it goes to a great cause. “There’s a $10.00 ticket for adults and $5.00 ticket for kids. But your ticket kind of doubles for an awesome drawing where we got great giveaways,” said Frandsen. “These girls like to stay fit themselves and what better than a little dance party for all of them to come out and hopefully get the community out to participate in it.” Tickets may be purchased at the door or from a member of the Carbon County Royalty.

All of the proceeds earned will assist the members of Miss Carbon County organization. “This will help the girls with their summer events and with the upcoming Miss Utah that Mikell Monson has to go to. So, it’s just to help the girls get a little bit ahead and have the opportunity to help them purchase those things that they need,” stated Frandsen. Individuals that are unable to attend the event but would like to contribute a monetary donation may do so by contact Frandsen at 820-4588.
