The Family Support and Children Justice Center would like to invite families to help celebrate Utah Family Month on Tuesday, June 5 from 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm outside of the Carbon County Senior Center located at 450 South Fairgrounds Road.
Governor Gary R Herbert declared May 14 to June 18 as Utah Family Month. This is the five weeks between Mother’s Day and Father’s Day. The goals of Utah Family Month is to celebrate parents as the most powerful influence in the lives of their children; Encourage families to spend time together; Connect parents with education and resources.
The evening’s free event will allow families to enjoy a hot dog, decorate and fly a kite while supplies last. This is a great way for families to get the children away from the electronics and enjoy a summer evening together.
The Family Support and Children Justice Center serve both Carbon and Emery Counties by helping children along with their families build stronger and healthier relationships.
