Wayne C. Allred, 60, passed away June 11, 2018 at his home in Elmo.

He was born January 1, 1958 in Price, Utah to Harry Clark and Annie Childs Allred. Married Tammy Moosman in Elmo, Utah on March 28, 1981 and they had three boys.

Wayne grew up in Emery County and that is where he made his home. He was a tireless worker who worked as a coal miner for 40 years. He enjoyed camping, fishing, cooking and spending time with his kids and grandkids at Nine Mile at the Park. He loved rodeo, horses, his friends and family. Wayne will be remembered for his kind heart, contagious laugh and sense of humor.

He is survived by his wife Tammy Allred, Elmo; sons, Moriah (Niki) Allred, Elmo; Isaac Allred, Spanish Fork; Colton (Marquette) Allred, Cleveland; mother, Annie Childs Fivecoat, Elmo; sister, Laretta (Merlyn) Jensen, Huntington; brother, Maynard Allred, Elmo; mother-in-law, Karen Moosman, Elmo; in-laws, Boyd (Mary Ann) Moosman, Florida; Lex Moosman, Salt Lake; DeeAnn Moosman, Price; Lydia (Javier) Villa, Elmo; Amy (Tony) Moosman, Salt
Lake; Bert (Jesse) Moosman, Salt Lake; also survived by 11 grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by his grandparents; Dad, Clark Allred; sisters, Mernabeth Allred, Gaylene Allred Archuleta; father-in-law, Ralph Moosman; niece, Kelly Villa; nephew, Jeremy Spainhower; and many other family members.

Wayne’s wishes were to be cremated and a Celebration of Life will be on Thursday, June 14, 2018, 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Mitchell Funeral Home, (233 East Main) Price. The family will have a Celebration of Life on Saturday, June
23, 2018, 1:00 p.m. on his property in 9-Mile (The Park), followed by a horse ride to scatter Wayne’s ashes and a luncheon to follow.
