Diamond H Productions presents Bull Riding Extreme at the Carbon County Fairgrounds on July 6,  part of the Warrior Day’s celebration.

While bull riding is typically a staple of an entire rodeo event, the one-night extravaganza will be the only feature for spectators. Those in attendance will also witness a junior bull riding event.

“We’ve taken the bull riding out of a complete rodeo and made it it’s own event,” said PA announcer Monroe Magnuson KOAL’s Drive Time Sports. “We are planning on 25-30 bull riders and something new that the committee added to the event is mini bull riding and that’s always entertaining.”

Diamond H Productions will provide the bulls for the event. Known for their premiere slate of stock, their involvement in the event brings an added level of difficulty to the participants in the competition.

“When you get right down to it, it’s man against beast,” said Magnuson. “In a humane sort of way it takes a brute force on both the man and bull. The average fan can relate to that and I think that’s why bull riding is so popular.”

Advanced tickets are now available at castlecountryevents.com. Tickets will also be available the night of the event.

The gates will open at 6:00 p.m.. The event itself is scheduled to begin at 7:00.
