The Price City Culture Connection is a free concert series that takes place every Thursday evening during the summer months as a means to bring the community together.

Inaugural Ceremonies will take place on Thursday evening at 6:30 pm at the Peace Gardens on Main Street. The Price American Legion Post 3 and the Price Veterans of Foreign Wars, Post 2379 will conduct the posting of colors, with the National Anthem being performed by Guys Who Sing.

Opening remarks will be made by Mayor Mike Korianos and Chairperson Leif Nelson will both introduce and award this year’s Grand Marshall, Daniel Garvin, Citizen of the Year, Frank Ori and Junior Grand Marshalls, Kyle Morgan and Patience Andrews.

The remainder of the evening will feature a Price City tradition with live entertainment by Los Hermanos de los Andes. The group is an Andean folk music ensemble made up of musicians Edgar Zurita, Alvaro Salazar, Juan Soto, Elias Perez, Victor Soto y Luis Zurita. Their purpose is to preserve and share their rich musical heritage using authentic ethnic instruments dating back to the ancient Inca civilization.

International food concessions by USU-Eastern Food Service will be sold during the concert. To commemorate the 2018 International Days Celebration will be an amazing display of fireworks set off from Wood Hill sponsored by AutoFarm and Price Auto Group.

Next week’s performance on August 2 will present Paul Cave who will entertain the crowd with jazz, traditional pop and swing music by musicians like Frank Sinatra and Michael Buble.
