Each year Price City Library and Castleview Hospital join forces to take on the calling of showcasing International Days activities for the youngest citizens of the community.

Price City Library organizes a Kids Parade that set to begin at 9:30 am at begins at 65 East 400 North, just each of Mont Harmon Football Field. Head Librarian, Norma Procarione shares details, “Well it’s a Kids Parade, so that means that the kids are the parade. There is nothing motorized. They can decorate their bike, moms with strollers, wagons, anything like that are welcomed.” Safety is very important so any kids that are planning to ride their bikes, scooters or rollerblade in the parade are required to wear a helmet. No exceptions will be allowed.

The parade route will end at USU- Eastern’s CBB Building, which is right across the street from the Desert Wave Pool. All the kids can then enjoy free Kids Day activities sponsored by Castleview Hospital beginning at 10:00 am till 12:00 pm. Castleview Representative, Jenn Colosimo talks about the event, “We have tons of fun stuff going on. So, we got Carbon High Cheerleaders coming in to man the bounce houses. We have our doctors that are coming in to do different lawn activities and games with the kids – face painting, hockey with Dr. Lauritsen, there are a million things going on so it will be super fun.” Other activities include NERF gun activity, arts and crafts, duck pond, corn hold, snow cones and treats. There will also be a chance to win some awesome prizes.

Both the Price City Library and Castleview hospital look forward to mingling with the youngest members of the community.
