This month’s charity is the Carbon County Humane Society. A non-profit organization that offers low-cost spay, neuters, and vaccinations. The Carbon County Humane Society has been in operation for over 20 years helping the pets in the Castle Country become healthier.

Their clinics are held once a month and are usually the second Thursday of each month. All individuals are volunteers except the Vet and the Vet Techs.  As a non-profit organization, the Humane Society relies on their 3 major fundraisers, the Nut Sale in the fall, the Green Eggs and Ham Breakfast during St. Patrick’s Day, and a Silpada Jewelry Party in the Spring.

The volunteers at the Humane Society would like to thank members of our community for the continued support in their major fundraisers and would like to encourage you to donate towels, blankets, dog or cat food, pet toys, or any other item that may be used to care for animals.
