This month marks one year since the beginning of this monthly activity and organizers are recycling the themes that were used last year. On Friday, September 7 at 6:00 pm  Helper First Friday event will take place on the city’s historical Main Street, the theme is Dog Days of Summer Are Over.

There will be live entertainment to enjoy on the stage located in the Main Street Park, guests are encouraged to bring their chairs and/or blankets. Art enthusiasts will have the opportunity to stroll the art galleries along main street to discover the many talented artists in our area.

Jennifer Lopez, owner and operator of JK’s Paw Spa will be sharing a short training session, answer grooming and behavior questions and presenting some demonstrations at the Canvas Alchemy Art Gallery.

Canine lovers can enter their doggies in the Best Trick Competition at 7:30 pm on Main Street Park with judging by Yawning Dog Ranch. A fun art project will be held at 3 Little Llamas where children can make dog treats and dog hear headbands while enjoying a reading on the new storytime stage.
