Castle Country Radio Stations, KOAL 107.3 FM and AM 750, Kickin Country 98.3, and 95.3 The Peak are pleased to announce the October Charity of the Month as the Community Clothing Closet.
The Community Clothing Closet has been serving Carbon and Emery County residents
since March 2011. They currently serve over 2000 households and have given out tens of thousands of clothes, coats, shoes, and other necessities for free over the years. Their mission is simple; to collect gently used items of clothing, coats, footwear, and other day-to-day necessities and give them back, free of charge, to individuals who need them.
The Community Clothing Closet is completely volunteer-run, and exists solely on donations. Though they get an ample amount of clothing donated, monetary donations are needed for month-to-month expenses. It takes an average of $750 dollars monthly to cover our costs and keep the doors open.
The Community Clothing Closet is open 10am-3pm Tuesday and Wednesday, and 10am-5: 30 pm on Thursday, and is located at 8 East Main Street near the corner of Main and Carbon Avenue.
Make October a month that you make a difference in the community by supporting the Community Clothing Closet. For ways to donate, or volunteer, call 650-1966. This Charity of the Month has been brought to you by Castle Country Radio Stations and the following supporting business.
