The Carbon Dinos will begin the final home stand of the 2018 football regular season Friday night against the Morgan Trojans.

Looking to rebound from a 47-23 loss to the Grantsville Cowboys last Friday, the Dinos will enter the home tilt with a region record of 1-2. Morgan, the classification’s No. 1 ranked squad, is unbeaten at 3-0.

Led by junior quarterback Carter Thackeray, the Trojans are averaging a 3A best 38-points per contest. Defensively Morgan has been lights out, allowing a classification low of seven per game.

Despite a 1-6 record overall the Dinos continue to show improvement under fourth year head coach Josh Huntsman. Carbon has been led by senior fullback/linebacker Collin Lewis, who has eclipsed the 100-yard mark in nearly every game this season and leads the team in touchdowns.
