Castle Country Radio would like to give voters a chance to get to know their candidates through a series of Meet the Candidates gatherings every Tuesday evening at 5:00 pm during the month of October on Utah State University Eastern campus. The Q&A event features candidates that will be on the general ballot.

This is a great opportunity for voters to get to know how their candidates. There are a few ways for voters to be a part of this event by either listening live on KOAL AM 750 or FM 107.3 or access the live stream at www.KOALitv.com, both of which may be accessed through our website at www.castlecountryradio.com. A more personal way to listen to the candidates’ is to attend the event in person by visiting the Utah State University Eastern Alumni Room in side the Jennifer Leavitt Student Center.

The second session will take place on October 9 with candidates seeking the Utah State Representative 69 seat, Christine Watkins and Tim Glenn. Both candidates looking to fill the Carbon County Clerk/Auditor seat, Seth Marsing and Salika Laulu Merrell will also be taking questions from voters. Questions may be submitted for hopefuls by emailing election2018@koal.net. Just a reminder that not all questions will be presented due to the number of candidates and time restrictions.

The following week on October 16 will be the Carbon County Commissioner hopefuls, Ed Chavez, Larry Jensen and Cheryl Lupo.
