Eastern Utah Community Credit Union would like to invite the entire community to stop by on Tuesday, October 30 and Wednesday, October 31 beginning at 9:00 am for their annual Bake Sale.

“We have this bake sale every year to raise money for our Angel Tree Project,” said EUCCU Employee Cyndi Dayley. “Then we have several other projects that we do besides and so we have fundraisers all year long.” Some of the treats are based around Halloween, ranging from cupcakes, popcorn balls, cookies, cakes, candy and so much more – just about anything to satisfy a sweet tooth.

EUCCU is a big advocate for the United Way of Eastern Utah’s Angel Tree Program.  “It’s one of the main things we really do like to focus on every year. We usually take between 100 to 140 Angels from United Way every year,” stated Dayley. Angel Tree application are currently available for pick up only at the credit union’s Price branch at 675 East 100 North or East Carbon branch at 105 West Geneva Drive and returned in person to United Way of Eastern Utah office at 67 East Main Street. The deadline to apply is November 14 at 4:00 pm and unfortunately there will be no exceptions given.

Angels will be available choose from soon as Dayley explains, “We always have our tree up before Thanksgiving so people can go shop on Black Friday.” All community members are welcome to stop by to pick an Angle off the tree to help make Christmas possible for a child in the area.

Anyone unable to stop in for the bake sale but would like make a monetary donation may do so at the credit union located at 675 East 100 North, Monday through Friday from 9:00 am to 5:30 pm. Next up for the personnel at EUCCU will be to prepare for their Annual Thanksgiving Pie event set to take place on November 21.
