PRICE – Utah State Eastern volleyball has received votes and land just outside the top 20 in this week’s NJCAA Division I volleyball poll.
This is the first time the Eagles have received votes since last season where they were a regular fixture in the weekly poll even reaching as high as 13.
The Eagles just wrapped up the best regular season in school history with a 17-9 overall record and a 8-2 conference record.
Conference foes College of Southern Idaho and Snow College are both ranked fourth and seventh respectively in the week’s poll.
The Eagles beat CSI earlier this season 3-1 in Twin Falls on October 12 and beat Snow on Friday in a come from behind win 3-2.
Right now the Eagles are on a five-game win streak and head to Twin Falls this weekend for the Region XVIII Tournament.
The Eagles will be the second seed in this weekend’s tournament and will take on Snow on Friday at 4 p.m. in the tournament seminfinals.
Friday’s game will be broadcasted live on the Scenic West Digital Network.
