PRICE – For the first time in program history, USU Eastern volleyball team will be the number two seed at the 2018 Region XVIII Tournament this upcoming weekend in Twin Falls.

After capping off the best regular season in program history with wins over multiple nationally-ranked teams, the Eagles will head into the tournament with a first round bye before playing the in tournament semifinals against Snow College.

The Eagles will take on Snow this Friday at 4 p.m. inside the CSI Gym with the winner of the match moving on to the tournament final on Saturday.

On the other side of the bracket, the host team and number one overall seed, CSI will take on the winner of Colorado Northwest and College of Southern Nevada in the other semifinal.

Right now the Eagles are on a five-game winning streak and have won eight of their last ten games.

They have also doubled last year’s conference wins total with winning eight games.

Under Head Coach Danielle Jensen, the Eagles have won a total of 45 games in the last three seasons.
