Shawn Dell Cloward born July 4th 1961 to Dell and Mary Cloward in Provo Utah. He moved to Price Utah in 1975, where he worked for the first KFC in Carbon County. Later he worked for Pete Harmon in Oakland California where he would deliver food to the Oakland raiders. From there on win, lose or tie the raiders would be his team. Later he moved back to Carbon County where he reconnected and eventually married the love of his life Helen Gutierrez. He cared for her daughter Shannon Pierce as one of his own and eventually had his pride and joy Steven Dell Cloward. From there on he worked for Geneva Rock where he received many awards for safety and being such a valuable employee. Later divorced he remained friends with Helen and never remarried. Shawn was a man of many skills and worked odd jobs until he settled down with action hot oil in the basin. Everyone and every employee Shawn had a relationship with

loved and respected him. In Shawn’s spare time he loved being outdoors as much as he could; fishing, hunting, camping, shed hunting and building race cars with his brothers when he was

younger. Most of all, he loved riding his Harley. He loved to travel the country on his bike with the sun on his face and the wind in his hair. Shawn was such a free spirit with a kind heart. He always put others before himself and found happiness when he could help those around him. Shawn will be dearly missed by so many including his best friend and companion his dog named Blue. Shawn passed away on November 13th 2018 unexpectedly from a massive heart attack. This world will never be the same without him.

Survived by his mother, Mary Cloward; ex-wife, Helen Crandall; son, Steven Cloward; stepdaughter, Shannon Pierce; sister, Connie Brotherson; brothers, Rick (Leisa), Darren (Heather Bills), Kevin (Heather Salee) Cloward; step grandchildren, Dylan and Gianna Pierce; uncle, Stephen Carter; aunt, Ethel Openshaw; many beloved nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by his father Dell Cloward.
