Frankie was born March 30, 1945 in Price, Utah to Franklin and Erma Evans Belt. She was later adopted by Ben Coomer in 1951.
Frankie attended schools in Utah and Colorado. She loved choir, and was a varsity cheerleader. She attended College of Eastern Utah and graduated with a degree in Elementary Education from Utah State University in Logan, Utah. She affiliated with Sigma Kappa.
She married Michael Forrester in 1972, and they divorced soon after.
Frankie was an accomplished dancer. She was taught by two of the best: Louise Lauriski and Beulah Hamm. She participated in many reviews, dancing numbers in tap, ballet and on toe.
Golf was one of Frankie’s favorite activities and she was a proficient player.
Frankie taught fifth and second grades for several years in the Carbon County School District, then worked in the family business most of her life. She fought a short battle with lung and brain cancer and passed away November 20, 2018.
Survived by her brothers, Ben C. (Lana) Coomer, Green River, Bruce E. (Patricia) Coomer, Colorado; nieces, nephews and cousins.
Preceded in death by her parents; grandparents; two infant brothers; aunts and uncles.
Graveside service, Saturday, December 1, 2018, 11:00 a.m., Wellington City Cemetery. Family will receive friends at Mitchell Funeral Home Saturday morning from 10:00-10:45 A.M.
