*Electric Lake*: Electric Lake doesn’t have any ice yet, but accessing the boat ramp may be difficult with highway vehicles because of recent snowfall. Anglers have been catching cutthroat trout while trolling and jigging with gulp minnows and dead shiners. Electric Lake was stocked with 15,000 fingerling cutthroat trout on Oct. 31. (“12-12-18”)

*Emerald Lake*: Emerald Lake and several other waterbodies within the Manti-La Sal National Forest are likely inaccessible to highway vehicles because of recent snowfall. (“12-12-18”)

*Fairview Lakes*: Fairview Lakes and other waterbodies within the Manti-La Sal National Forest have had unstable ice lately  it might not yet be thick enough for ice fishing. Use caution here. (“12-12-18”)

*Ferron Creek*: Ferron Creek was restocked with 24,000 fingerling Colorado River cutthroat trout this fall. These fish will likely reach a catchable size in 2019. (“12-12-18”)

*Ferron Reservoir*: Ferron Reservoir and several other waterbodies within the Manti-La Sal National Forest are likely inaccessible to highway vehicles because of recent snowfall. (“12-12-18”)

*Gigliotti Pond*: Recent warm temperatures have made the ice at Gigliotti Pond too thin for ice fishing. Wait for colder temperatures and thicker ice before you fish here. (“12-12-18”)

*Gooseberry Reservoir*: Gooseberry Reservoir and several other waterbodies within the Manti-La Sal National Forest are likely inaccessible to highway vehicles because of recent snowfall. Gooseberry, however, is accessible with a snow machine. (“12-12-18”)

*Grassy Lake*: Grassy Lake and several other waterbodies within the Manti-La Sal National Forest are likely inaccessible to highway vehicles because of recent snowfall. (“12-12-18”)

*Huntington Creek*: Anglers are catching brown trout in the afternoons while using elk hair caddis dry flies along the edges of the channel where the water slows. A recent electrofishing survey produced some impressive brown trout in the creek below Electric Lake Dam, near the bridge. (“12-12-18”)

*Huntington Game Farm Pond*: Try using worms or PowerBait to catch rainbow trout here. Small flies may work well for bluegill. (“12-12-18”)

*Huntington North Reservoir*: The reservoir still has some open water, and the existing ice is too unstable for ice fishing. Try using size 6-8 beadhead leeches and crystal buggers on medium- or fast-sinking line. *La Sal Mountains*: Kens Lake was stocked twice in November with about 2,300 rainbow trout that were more than 11 inches long. Rattlesnake Ranch Pond was stocked with 2,000 rainbow trout on Oct. 10. Dons Lake and Hidden Lake were both stocked with more than 700 rainbow trout on July 9. Dark Canyon Lake and several others on the La Sal Mountains have been stocked with several thousand rainbow trout this year. The fish averaged about 10 inches long. Try using worms, PowerBait or spinners to catch them. Access to waterbodies on the La Sal Mountains may be limited because of recent snowfall. (“12-12-18”)

*Lower Fish Creek*: Fishing below the dam at Scofield Reservoir is good if you want to catch chubs. Try using soft-hackle flies here. This waterway may freeze over soon as snow accumulates. (“12-12-18”)

*Miller Flat Reservoir*: Miller Flat Reservoir and several other waterbodies within the Manti-La Sal National Forest are likely inaccessible to highway vehicles because of recent snowfall. However, you can reach Miller Flat with a snow machine. (“12-12-18”)

*Millsite Reservoir & State Park*: The reservoir is currently capped in ice, but recent warm temperatures have made the ice too unstable for ice fishing. (“12-12-18”)

*Petes Hole*: Petes Hole and several other waterbodies within the Manti-La Sal National Forest are likely inaccessible to highway vehicles because of recent snowfall. (“12-12-18”)

*Potters Ponds*: Potters Ponds and several other waterbodies within the Manti-La Sal National Forest are likely inaccessible to highway vehicles because of recent snowfall. (“12-12-18”)

*Price River*: Much of the Price River through Price Canyon has frozen over. (“12-12-18”)

*Right Fork of Huntington Creek*: Anglers report catching brown trout in the afternoons using elk hair caddis dry flies along the edges of the channel where the water slows. (“12-12-18”)

*Scofield Reservoir*: The reservoir is covered in ice, but ice thickness varies across the reservoir, so use caution. Fishing has been good with jigs or paddle bugs (in various colors), tipped with chub meat. Try using white or green glow-in-the-dark jigs. Anglers have reported the fishing to be best when the fish see lots of movement from jigs. (“12-12-18”)

*Soup Bowl*: Soup Bowl and several other waterbodies within the Manti-La Sal National Forest are likely inaccessible to highway vehicles because of recent snowfall. (“12-12-18”)

*Straight Canyon Creek*: Anglers report catching brown trout using soft-hackle flies in Straight Canyon Creek. Anglers may catch more fish near the Joes Valley Dam, but the larger brown trout are further downstream. (“12-12-18”)
