Our loving mother, grandmother, sister and dear friend, Etheleen Airhart Wilson, 93, passed peacefully on December 10, 2018 at the Heirloom Inn in Price.

She was born July 2, 1925 in Natchitoches, Louisiana to Samuel V. and Bertha Lou Roberts Airhart. On July 24, 1953, she married Leonard Von Wilson in Los Angeles, California; their marriage was later solemnized in the Manti Temple. Von preceded her in death on October 31, 2006.

Ethel was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She was a longtime resident of Huntington where she retired from Emery High School and was affectionately known to many as “Grandma E”. Ethel took a great deal of pride in everything she done and her home was so spotless that you could eat off the floors. She enjoyed collecting dolls, cleaning, dancing and listening to western music. “Grandma E” loved caring for her children and grandchildren and making sure they had whatever they needed. Ethel leaves behind a legacy that will be cherished for generations.

She is survived by her four children, Linda (Dewain) Alphin, Mesa, AZ, Ken (Tina) Wilson, Rock Springs, WY, Kevin Wilson, Huntington, and Steven (Kelly) Wilson, Huntington; 14 grandchildren, 32 great-grandchildren and 11 great-great-grandchildren; two brothers, Murray Airhart, Los Angeles, CA., Jimmie Airhart, San Francisco, CA.; sister, Bertha Benjamin, Crescent City, CA.
