The Emery Spartans continued the wrestling season with a road dual against the Richfield Wildcats Tuesday evening in the first of two meets this week.

Having to forfeit multiple weight classes at the varsity level, the Spartans were unable to keep pace with Richfield in a 44-36 loss. Emery, while at full strength, defeated Richfield at a weekend dual tournament.

The Spartans will continue the wrestling season at home on Thursday night against Delta in the final dual before the Christmas break. Following Thursday’s meet the season will resume on Jan. 4 and 5 at the 3A Duals in Richfield at the Sevier Valley Center.
