The Utah Governor’s Office of Economic Development encourages businesses to apply for the Targeted Business Tax Credit, or TBTC, a program that promotes private investment and job creation in rural Utah counties with populations less than 25,000 people. The TBTC Program is an incentive program where a business in a rural county like Carbon County can get $100,000.00 to assist in an expansion project.

There are only three companies in the entire state that will be awarded the TBTC and last year our very own Intermountain Electronics was awarded.  There are restrictions and requirements to qualify, here is a link to that information https://business.utah.gov/rural/

The application period is open from January 1, 2019 to February 1, 2019.
