Iretta Grace Curtis Anderson, age 81, passed away January 15, 2019 in Cedar City, UT.

She was born June 12, 1937 in Salina, UT to Darrell and Sylva Tuft Curtis.

Married Thomas Roger Anderson August 8, 1955.

Iretta was a very talented person. She was a master of many arts, including sewing, needlework, cooking, decorating and a multitude of other types of crafts. She was a very giving person and many people were the recipients of her generosity. She was an extremely likable person who charmed all those she came in contact with. Iretta will always be remembered for her ability to soothe a restless baby with her many bizarre lullabies.

Iretta grew up in Spring Canyon, UT where she attended Carbon High School and met Tom, the love of her life. They spent the majority of their lives in Sunnyside, UT where they raised their four girls. Iretta moved to Cedar City in her later years where she spent the remainder of her life.

Iretta is survived by her brothers, Farrell (Carma) Curtis and Ron (Sondra) Curtis; sister-in-law, Jean Curtis; and her four daughters, Rebecca (Bill) Jackson, Sharon Cooper, Mary Jo (Joe) Hoyt, and Carol (Terry) Johnson. She leaves behind 13 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. She is preceded in death by husband, Tom; brother, Larry Curtis; 2 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Funeral service Saturday, January 19, 2019,  1:00 p.m., Mitchell Funeral Home, 233 E. Main St., Price UT. Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Interment will be at Price City Cemetery.
