The Emery swim team once again turned in a stellar athletic performance on Thursday night at their home pool in Castle Dale.
Going up against schools from Gunnison, Richfield and North Sevier, the Spartan boys and girls each swam to over 20 first place finishes.
The girls turned in a final team score of 447 beating their closest opponent by 135 points. The boys team scored 355 points, 40 better than second place Richfield.
On the boys side, Keldan Guymon was the one to beat as he turned in outstanding performances in both the 100 fly and 50 free. Deegan Minchey also turned in a first place finish in the 100 free. The boys team also turned in a first place finish in the 200 medley relay and the 200 free relay.
For the girls, Kaelee Hooley placed first in the 200 free, Sydney Terwilleger took first in the 100 fly and the 100 backstroke and Alejandra Garcia and Angellena Migliori place first in the 500 free and 100 breaststroke respectively. The girls also placed first in the 200 free relay.
Emery heads back into the water on Saturday against Carbon.
