On the road Wednesday night the Carbon Dinos picked up a region win 63-50 against the Maeser Prep Lions. The Dinos had put forth a balanced effort scoring in double digits in every quarter. They also found an answer to their woes coming out of halftime, outscoring Maeser in the third.

Led by senior Derek Hillam who scored 30 points on 10-of-18 shooting, Ty Anderson and Collin Lewis dropped in 12 each. Carbon also had a good night from the free throw line shooting 78%. The Dinos won the first of their final three games of the season, all of which are on the road.
