Glenn was born near Warsaw, Missouri in the Fall of 1920. She graduated from Lincoln High School and attended the Caster Beauty Academy in Kansas City. When she graduated from the academy, she opened her own beauty shop in Lincoln, Missouri.

In 1940, she married her high school sweetheart, Arthur Labahn. The young couple moved to Odessa, Missouri where both were employed by Remington Munitions. World War II brought a call to arms which Art answered by enlisting in the U.S. Navy where he served as a Submariner. When the war ended, Glenn and Art resumed their lives together and in 1946, welcomed their only child, Ray Labahn. The family moved to Overland Park, Kansas where they resided for 32 years. Art worked for the Oil Dri Corp. of Chicago and Glenn returned to her work as a beautician for a small shop, the Curling Iron and then at Macy’s Beauty Salon. They traveled extensively, including a trip to Europe in 1983. In 1994, they moved to Price, Utah to be near their family. Art died in 1996 and Glenn carried on and stayed in their condo until two years ago when she happily made her home at the Heirloom Inn as an independent resident. She was a faithful member of Ascension Saint Matthew’s Church for 34 years, the P.E.O. Sisterhood and the Wives of the WW II Submarine Vets.
