Ascension St Matthews Annual Shrove Tuesday Pancake Supper will be held on Tuesday, March 5 from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm inside the church located on 522 North Homestead Boulevard in Price.

“Shrove Tuesday Pancake Supper has been around in Carbon County for years and years and years and most people who have been here for a while are very familiar with it,” said Pam Adams, an Event Organizer. “It’s held at the Ascension St Matthews Church which is located at 522 North Homestead Boulevard just down the road on Homestead from Castle Heights school.”

The delicious dinner will consist of pancakes, ham, scrambled eggs and a beverage with the pancake portion as an all you can eat item. The supper will be served by many of the church members.

“The donation for it that we ask is for a single ticket is $5.00 and for a family ticket it’s for the price of $20.00 and children three are free with a paying adult,” explained Adams. All proceeds from the event will go to the Church’s outreach community programs.

Guests will be able to pay a visit to the church’s gift shop which will be open during the event. “We hope that everyone in Carbon County will come out and support us. We have a large parking lot and it’s a good size room and you’ll meet friends that you haven’t seen in a while and just have a good time while enjoying a wonderful meal,” concluded Adams.
