The Carbon Dinos suffered a 4-0 setback to the Delta Rabbits in a Region 14 contest Tuesday afternoon at home.

Trailing 1-0 at the end of the first half, the Dinos fell off pace in the second as Delta found the back of the net three times. The loss drops Carbon to 0-6 on the season and 0-4 in division play.

“I think they started out the first half very strong and did a very good job on defense,” said assistant coach Tracie Brady. “We had a few players leave in the second half due to injuries and that kind of slowed down our game. We’re a young team and have a lot to work on, but they are progressing.”

Carbon will have an opportunity to bounce back from Tuesday’s loss with a road trip to Moab to face the Grand Red Devils Friday afternoon. The team will return to region play next week against Juab on Monday.
