Unable to slow down the highly potent Grand Red Devils offense, the Carbon Dinos suffered a 5-1 loss in a non-region contest Friday afternoon in Moab.

Entering fresh off a hefty victory over the San Juan Broncos on Wednesday, Carbon trailed just 1-0 at the end of the first half. Grand took complete control with four goals in the second half to cruise to the four goal win.

Friday’s loss drops Carbon to 1-7 overall on the season. The team remains winless on the region slate as well with a record of 0-4.

The Dinos will have a quick turnaround as they return to divisional play on Monday with a road trip to meet the Juab Wasps. The meeting will be the first between the two teams this season, with the second coming in the regular season finale on April 25.
