Patricia Trujillo was born August 12, 1952 at the old Carbon Hospital, to Dr. Alfonso and Vera Trujillo. She passed away March 19, 2019 from her battle with cancer, surrounded by her family.
Patricia grew up in Price. She graduated from Carbon High and the College of Eastern Utah with an Associates in Science. Patricia was a free spirit, and because of this it led her to Jackson Wyoming to work in the summers. She worked in an ice cream shop where she met her husband Jerry Denton. They were married in 1972 and later divorced. Patricia loved to dance. She had an infectious smile, a wicked sense of humor and she loved to laugh. Patricia had her share of rough times. She was a victim of a violent crime in 1984 which she survived. Patricia had a survivors spirit. She was strong but also soft and was easily hurt. Patricia eventually returned to school and received her BSN from the University of Northern Colorado, all while raising two children as a single mother. To say that she was amazing was an understatement, she was a warrior. Patricia later moved to Yucca Valley California.
Patricia is proceeded in death by her parents Alfonso Trujillo and Vera Trujillo and her brother Alfonso Micheal Trujillo. She is survived by her two children Justin Denton, April (David) Zanin, her grandchildren Erynn, Elijah, Everett Denton, David and Dereck Zanin, her siblings, Carl(Tracy) Trujillo, Shawnee (David) Ariotti, Marc(Kim) Trujillo and many nieces and nephews. As per her wishes, Patricia was cremated and she will not have a funeral service.
