After a back-and-forth Region 14 battle, the Carbon Dinos won their second game of the season 3-2 against the Maeser Prep Lions Tuesday afternoon at Carbon High.

Noah Bradford found the back of the net once during the first half and once during the second half, scoring two of the three goals for Carbon. “I just feel like the opportunity was there and the goalie was out of position, so I just put it in and scored two goals,” stated Noah Bradford.

During the second half, the two teams were tied 2-2. Parker Humes found the back of the net during the second half, securing the second win of the season for the Carbon Dinos.

“I feel like this game, we didn’t let down, and we fought back both times we were scored on,” stated Humes. “We scored goals when we could, and we capitalized.”

This game takes Carbon to 3-9-3 overall for the season and puts their record at 2-5-3 in Region 14 play.

The Carbon Dino’s will face the ALA Eagles on Friday at home. This will be the second meeting between the two teams.
