Castle Country Radio has selected Utah Foster Care as May’s Charity of the Month. For the duration of the month, the radio station showcases a local non-profit organization to bring awareness to listeners of the wonderful services that agency offers.

The Utah Foster Care is a nationally recognized non-profit organization that finds, trains, and supports Utah families who are willing and able to provide a nurturing home for children who have been neglected or abused. Currently, there are over 100 children in Carbon and Emery Counties, that are looking for families that are willing to help them in their time of need.

There will be an Ask a Foster Parent Forum taking place on May 14th from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the Utah Foster Care Office located at 475 West Price River Drive, Suite #152. This event will allow guests the opportunity to ask foster parents questions and get additional information on helping children in our community. When a child is placed in Foster Care, there are many changes that are expected, but you can help by becoming a Foster Parent and keep these children in their home town.
