Gerald I. Barkley, age 81, passed away peacefully on May 1, 2019 at his home.

He was born January 13, 1938 in Watertown, South Dakota to John R. and Rose Felman Barkley.
Married Elsie Jewell Barkley on June 11, 1966 in Las Vegas, Nevada; she passed away May 4, 2017.
Gerald built and maintained golf courses most of his life. He honorably served his country in the United States Air Force during the Korean and Vietnam era.

Survived by his children, Donald (Robin) Rogers, Oregon; Lynda (Roy) Barnett, Denny Rogers, Julie (Gary) Green, Gary (Brooke) Barkley, all of Price.

Preceded in death by his parents; wife, Jewell; son, John Barkley; brothers, Dick and Bill Barkley.

Funeral service, Monday, May 6, 2019, 1:00 p.m., Mitchell Funeral Home where the family will receive friends one hour prior to service. Interment, Cliffview Cemetery.
