The Annual Spring Glen Mudhens Car Show and Community Days will take place on Saturday, June 8 in Spring Glen. The day-long event will be held at the city’s park located at 1950 West 4100 North from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm. The Spring Glen Community Days is a fundraising event to help keep the historic city park and school open to the community.

“The Car Show is only $10.00 for a car. We’ve had a lot of local cars and cars from all over the state, actually Colorado and many other states. It’s getting to be a lot bigger following than it was to start with and I can’t wait,” said Event Organizer, Jimmy Noyes. The car show is open to all vehicles with the award ceremony scheduled for 3:00 pm.

This year officials have scheduled many fun activities for the children. ‘We’re going to bury some money in the horseshoe pits and things like that so they can come, different ages, and dig up the money and face painting. A lot of different things like that for the kids because I think we’ve kind of neglected that in the past……get the kids involved and keep them there for a while you know,” said Noyes. Children of all ages will be able to participate in games and activities.

Guests are urged to bring their lawn chairs so that they can sit and listen to the live bands throughout the day and enjoy the live auction both set to kick off at 1:00 pm. “It’s really a fun time, you know some people get up and dance and everything. It’s a really good time. It’s nice to see the people and I really would like to invite all of the community, all the area to come up there but really the people of Spring Glen we want to see you,” stated Noyes. There will be lots of vendors set up in the park along with plenty of food items to purchase.
