The Family Support and Children Justice Center would like to invite families to come celebrate Utah Family Month on Saturday, June 8 from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm outside of the Carbon County Senior Center located at 450 South Fairgrounds Road in Price.

Governor Gary R Herbert has proclaimed that Utah Family Month run between the dates of Mother’s Day and Father’s Day. The goal of Utah Family Month is to celebrate parents as the most powerful influence in the lives of their children; Encourage families to spend time together; Connect parents with education and resources.

The free event will allow families to enjoy a hot dog lunch, fly a kite while supplies last and participate in other fun games and activities. This is a great way for families to get the children away from the electronics and enjoy a summer day together.

The Family Support and Children Justice Center serve both Carbon and Emery Counties by helping children along with their families build stronger and healthier relationships.
