The Price Boys and Girls Club Summer Program is in full swing for children ages 5 to 18 years old. There are so many fun activities and field trips planned for the entire summer for only $20.00 per child.

“Right now, we are in the middle of our Summer Program. But the Boys and Girls Club we offer year-round, basically, it is one of the coolest places to be if you’re a kid in Carbon County,” said Director Olivia Dudding-Rodriguez. “We offer a little bit of everything for everybody and its available if you are going into kindergarten or first grade or if you’re somewhere in high school – we’ve got something for you. It’s a really fun place to be.” The club is open during the summer from 1:00 pm to 6:00 pm Monday through Friday.

The club’s summer calendar is full of activities and field trips as Dudding-Rodriguez explains, “We have our two programs, we’ve got our juniors program for elementary school students and our teen program for middle schoolers and teens and both of them have calendars chock-full of fun stuff.” Students can enjoy activities involving sports, art and cooky science experiences. There are also field trips scheduled to the wave pool, local parks, bowling, movies and if there is enough interest a trip over the mountain to play laser tag.

The cost to participate in the summer program is $20.00 per child. “If that is a financial burden just talk to me, I’ve got plenty of scholarships that go unused. So just show up, I’ll give you a membership form we’ll get you signed up or you can call I think we have a form online you can fill out,” stated Dudding-Rodriguez. Individuals who wish to sign up for the Summer Program can call the club at (435) 637-6066 or stop by their location at 30 East 200 South in Price.
