Fierce Fighting Championship will return to the Castle Country with an outdoor event at the Helper American Legion Baseball Field on Saturday, August 3.

“I’ve always been a fan of outdoor shows and have had some of my fighters fight outdoors before,” said Fierce Fighting Championship owner and promoter Cody Bunderson. “What a special, iconic venue to do a fight at. It’s sitting with the Book Cliffs in the background. It’s going to be fun.”

The upcoming event will be the first MMA card in Carbon County since Fierce Fighting Championship’s Fight for Hunger in October. Like always, the card will feature a variety of local fighters and fan favorites.

Expecting to headline the card is local fighter Mike Jones. In a separate bout, amateur champion Blanka Chavez will defend his FFC title.

“Its looking like we will have four to five professional fights, which is huge,” said Bunderson. “We are bringing in fighters from Vegas and Utah. Some of these guys are the top ranked guys that working up the ranks to get to the next big shows.”

There will be a variety of ticket options for spectators, including lawn, cage side and grandstand seating. Tickets for the event are scheduled to go on sale Wednesday, July 3 online at fiercefightingchampionship.com.
