Parkdale Health & Rehab in partnership with Carbon County Chamber of Commerce presents the First Annual Patriotic Picnic Carnival on Monday, July 8 from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm. This event will take place at Parkdale Health & Rehab located at 250 East 600 North in Price and everyone from the community is invited to attend.
“We have a couple of our residents that are Veterans so that kind of lead us to the Fourth of the July – so that kind of lead to the patriotic theme but we just want to have a good community involvement for the community to get to meet our residents to see how wonderful they are and also for our residents to still be able to be involved in the community,” said Parkdale Representative, Tamarisk Hanson. Parkdale Health & Rehab provides unparalleled rehabilitation therapy and nursing services and is consistently recognized as a leader in nursing care.
The event is a way to bring the community and Parkdale residents together to enjoy each other company. “This will be on Monday, July 8 and it’s in the evening from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm. There are a bunch of vendors signed up, so all the home health companies will be there and then there are a couple of personal like people who have their own side businesses and hustles and they’ll all have little carnival booths for the kids,” said Hanson. There will be cotton candy, snow cones, popcorn and other fun items available at the event.
“Another thing we are doing at Parkdale is we’re calling it the Spreading Smiles and it’s where you paint rocks and hide them around town and it’s a lot of fun for the kids to go around and find them and paint their own and see that people are hiding them,” explained Hanson. The residents enjoy both painting rocks and finding them so this is fun for all involved.
