Lloyd “Steven” Crogan passed away July 11, 2019 from Diabetes complications at the age of 65.

He was born in Price, Utah on March 22, 1954 to Lloyd Frederick “Fred” and Carol “Kelly” Larsen Crogan.

Steve was raised in Hiawatha and Price. He graduated from Carbon High School in 1972 and then attended College of Eastern Utah graduating with an Associate of Science Degree. Steve loved the theatre department and participated in the productions of Godspell and Jesus Christ Superstar and made many lifetime friends. He also graduated from Utah State University with a Bachelor’s of Science – Sociology Degree. Steve worked three years for the Carbon County Housing Authority as a housing specialist and caseworker. For 18 years he was Co-Owner/ Manager of the Sun Bar in Salt Lake City until it was destroyed in 1999 by a tornado. He was the most happy working behind the bar serving many friends and patrons. Steve was kind hearted, very sentimental, funny and a devoted friend. His smile and laugh were heartwarming. He loved to cook and was very good at it. He adored his niece Marisa and was a loving big brother. Steve’s recent love was his mini Schnauzer “Freddie”.

Survived by his sister, Carrie (Vernon) White; aunts, Teddy Larsen, Mavis Wilson; nieces and nephews, Derrick White, Chad White, Brooke (Dan) Burke, Darin (Diana) White, Hayley (Brandon) Bower, Marisa White (Dylan Johnson); cousins, Dawn (Bev) Larsen, Mike (Cate) Larsen, Darrel (Kristie) Larsen, Dan (Virginia) Larsen, Cherryl Underhill, Dana Lee (Larry) Robinson.

Preceded in death by his parents; uncle, Donald Larsen; aunt, Louis Hyden.

He will be greatly missed by family and many friends. At Steve’s request there will be no funeral. Graveside service will be held Friday, August 9, 2019, 11:00 a.m., Price City Cemetery.
