The Utah South champs from Carbon, are in Arroyo Grande California for the Pacific Southwest regional tournament that will run from July 22-27.
Ten teams will take part in this double elimination tournament. With five teams from California including the host Five Cities Youth team. Two teams from Utah including the northern champion Eastside and the Carbon team. Teams from Hawaii, Arizona and Nevada will round out the field. The winner of this tournament will be the represent the region at the World Series in Demopolis, Alabama.
Mangers Justin Powell and Ty Alderson will lead the team of Jerden Alderson, Chet Anderson, Ray Burdick, James Castro, Ashton Ferguson, Braxtin Henrie, Mcguire Kocks, Colton Lowe, Landon Powell, Mason Vasquez and Diego Vega.
Games started Monday morning at 10 a.m. and will continue until 7 p.m. when the Carbon team will take on the host team Five Cities Youth in the day one night cap.
