Price, Utah – The USU Eastern Men’s Soccer team hosted Treasure Valley Community College on Saturday, August 17th.  The Eagles beat the Chucks 6-2.

“Everyone played as a team and that is what helped us come back strong,” said assistant coach David Novoa.  The Chucks had the lead 2-0 in the first half but then, in the second half our Eagles came back and tied it up 2-2.

Instead of playing two 45-minute halves, this game they split the time up and played three 30-minute increments.  During the last 30 minutes of the game is when The Eagles really stepped up their defense and offense and were able to take the lead and bring home the win.

The Eagles will be on the road for their next four games.  These games include, Gillette College (August 22nd, Gillette, WY), Sheridan College (August 24th, Sheridan, WY), Alan Hancock College (August 29th, Henderson, NV), and Victor Valley College (August 31st, Henderson, NV).
