Hallie, age 67, passed away suddenly September 23, 2019, while hiking the mountains hunting for his much anticipated limited-entry elk tag with his son-in-law Philip.

Hallie was an avid scholar, he received his Bachelors of Accounting from Utah State, CPA from the state, and MBA from University of Utah. He encouraged those around him to receive education and to participate in continual learning. He always gave 110% and pushed others to go the extra mile.

Hallie was a very devoted husband to Joyce for 46 years. Together they had six children; Shauna (Gordon), Steven (Carlie), Cherilyn (James), Cynthia (Philip), Adam (Kristina), and Arlene (Mike).

Other than his family, Hallie’s passions were hunting and fishing. His teasing, easy-going and fun-loving nature, along with his crooked nose, will never be forgotten.

Hallie was preceded in death by his sisters Karen, Mary, Jackie and by his father, Harold Cunningham.

He is survived by his wife, Joyce; his mother, Frances; siblings, Darrell, David, Dale, Richard, John, James, and Marilyn; and also his 6 children and 19 grandchildren.

A memorial gathering and farewell services for family and friends will be held at Mitchell Funeral Home from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. respectively on Friday, 27th of September, 2019, with services starting at 11:00 a.m. Arrangements entrusted to Mitchell Funeral Home of Price where friends are always welcome daily and may share memories of Hallie online at www.mitchellfuneralhome.net
